An early morning swim is the best prelude to the Sunrise breakfast buffet, laden with freshly baked sourdough and traditional koulouris, as well as light and crispy pastries to accompany local cheeses and cured meats, home-made preserves and eggs however you like them. A daily selection of fruit is the perfect accompaniment to Greek yoghurt with nuts and honey, and there’s nothing like taking your coffee with your feet in the sand.


Throughout the day you have a choice of mezzes, light lunches, snacks and holiday classics served to your lounger, complemented by fresh juices or drinks from the beach bar.


But the real Greek taverna culture comes into its own with the famously long  midafternoon island lunches and late dinners that are all about the pleasure of being together and sharing mezzes and Mediterranean specialties over good wine and tall stories.
